Pet Care: From One Senior To Another PDF Print E-mail

To all those thoughtful human friends who take care of us, feed us, walk us, change the paper, empty out the litter box, and do all of those wonderful things, I want to thank you. Because we appreciate you, there is one more thing you could do for us: fill out an Advance Directive...YOU take care of yourself in advance.

BE sure you have provided information about your pet in case something happens to you.

If you have designated someone to care for your pet if you are unable to do so, have you taken the time to tell them where the food is...how much to feed...or who the veterinarian is? Perhaps the pet takes medication...but where is it kept and how much is given? These are a very few of the questions that should have ready answers in a convenient location so your pet is protected.

Take a little time...and plan for that friend of yours.

THANK YOU FOR CARING.
